  1. Balancing Hormones: Tailored nutrition plans can regulate hormonal fluctuations, easing symptoms like irregular periods and mood swings.
  2. Managing Weight: Targeted dietary strategies can aid in weight management, crucial for addressing weight gain commonly associated with these conditions.
  3. Supporting Metabolism: Nutrient-rich foods can support metabolism, helping to combat sluggishness and promote energy levels.
  4. Alleviating Symptoms: Certain foods and nutrients can alleviate symptoms like hot flashes, night sweats, and mood swings, enhancing overall well-being.
  5. Improving Insulin Sensitivity: Dietary adjustments can enhance insulin sensitivity, vital for managing insulin resistance often seen in PCOS.
  6. Enhancing Nutrient Intake: Optimizing nutrient intake through diet can support bone health, heart health, and overall vitality during menopause and beyond.

Overall, Nutritional Therapy offers a holistic approach to women’s health, addressing underlying imbalances and promoting wellness through personalised nutrition plans and lifestyle interventions.

What is Health Coaching and how does this work alongside Nutritional Therapy?

Health coaching is a client-centred approach that focuses on empowering individuals to make sustainable lifestyle changes to improve their overall health and well-being. Health coaching provides guidance, support, and accountability to help clients set and achieve their health goals.

Health coaching complements Nutritional Therapy in several ways:

  2. Accountability: Health coaching help clients stay accountable to their health goals by providing regular check-ins, tracking progress, and offering encouragement and motivation along the way.
  3. Personalised Support: Health coaching offers personalised support tailored to the individual needs and preferences of each client. I work collaboratively with clients to identify obstacles, develop strategies to overcome them, and adjust goals as needed, ensuring that the nutritional therapy plan is practical, sustainable, and effective.
  4. Holistic Approach: Health coaching takes a holistic approach to health and wellness, addressing not only dietary factors but also other aspects of well-being, such as physical activity, stress management, sleep quality, and emotional health. By addressing these various dimensions of health, health coaching enhances the effectiveness of nutritional therapy and promotes overall wellness.
  5. Overall, health coaching complements nutritional therapy by providing the support, guidance, and motivation necessary for clients to successfully implement dietary and lifestyle changes, achieve their health goals, and sustain long-term improvements in their health and well-being. Together, health coaching and nutritional therapy form a powerful partnership in supporting clients on their journey to optimal health.

How long do the programs run for?

Do you offer laboratory tests?

Yes, I work with various laboratories to carry out any investigations I feel is necessary

Do you recommend supplements in your plans?

Yes, I work with professional grade supplements. These are recommended according to an individual’s symptoms/blood results/medical history.

Will I need to make significant changes to my diet?

All plans are aimed to fit around the individual so that the plans can fit into their lives – so even for those on the go or that travel frequently, plans will be adapted to work around their schedules.

I am already working with medical specialists, is it still ok to work with you?

Yes, I work alongside medical professionals. If given consent I will keep them updated with any changes in nutrition and supplements.
If someone is on any medication, I would use protocols to ensure there was no interactions between supplements/food and the medication.
